Founded in Murfreesboro, TN (Est. 2023)
GymCore is a gymnastics and tumbling facility based in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, founded in August of 2023. We are dedicated to helping athletes of all ages and abilities build strong foundations through quality instruction, safe progressions, and positive coaching.
At GymCore, we believe gymnastics is about more than learning skills—it’s about building confidence, discipline, and resilience. Our programs are designed to meet each athlete where they are, providing an encouraging environment that supports growth at every level, from beginners to advanced athletes.
More than a gym, GymCore is a community. We strive to create a space where every child feels supported, challenged, and inspired to believe in themselves both inside and outside the gym.
Our Story
GymCore was created from a lifelong love of gymnastics and a desire to give back to the sport in a meaningful way.
Founder & CEO Marie Harris began gymnastics before the age of two, and the sport quickly became a central part of her life. Although her competitive career ended early due to injury, that experience became a turning point rather than an ending. It led Marie to discover her true passion—coaching and mentoring young athletes.
Marie’s coaching journey spans a wide range of experiences, from working in local park districts to coaching at Olympic Training Centers. She has also served as a competitive judge for Women’s Artistic Gymnastics and as a Special Olympics coach, experiences that shaped her inclusive, athlete-first philosophy.
With GymCore, Marie set out to build more than a gym. Her mission is to create a business that provides opportunities for every child to grow, learn, and chase their own dreams in a fun, positive, and safe environment. GymCore is the result of that vision—a place where athletes are encouraged, supported, and celebrated at every step of their journey.
